Folami, a seasoned performer hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area with a touch of southern influence from Atlanta, GA, holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Howard University. Discovered by former CHIC lead singer Sylver Logan Sharp during college, Folami’s audition for CHIC ft Nile Rodgers marked the beginning of her impressive career. With over twenty years of global performances and a Masters Degree in Music and Art from Larry Love University, Folami continues to captivate audiences with her standout performances. Recognized for her vintage-inspired fashion, she achieved a career milestone with her single ‘Four to the Floor’ featured in the 2019 August edition of Vogue Paris.
